    Responsibilities

    Hexagon PPM is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to be a leader in security initiatives for the Global IT team supporting the PPM, GSP, and SI divisions of Hexagon.  You will work within a highly dynamic, multi-divisional environment to develop and implement information security plans and policies to aid the organizations.  Responsibilities include identifying vulnerabilities within the existing network and propose controls to remediate these, respond and recover from security events, hands on administration of third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats in accordance with industry best practices. You will be provided the opportunity to be a leader in the Global Security Incident Response team and assist with improving the processes that govern the team’s strategy for reacting to security events, compulsory reporting, and recommending changes to policy, education initiatives, and technology to prevent future security events.

    Qualifications

    Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
      Active certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, CISM, ISSAP, and/or ISSEP are a plus.

    Qualifications and Skills desired:

    • 4+ years of industry experience in an information security function.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to multi-task and operate in a highly dynamic, multi-contractor environment to resolve customer issues.
    • Experience participating in projects on software evaluation and replacement in a Global IT environment.
    • Experience with security management processes, response playbooks, security assessments, and penetration testing
    • Experience planning and executing internal security audits
    • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and configuration management/requirements processes.
    • Strong familiarity with NIST and ISO (9000/27001) frameworks and ITIL Service Management Lifecycle.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 and IaaS/PaaS solutions of Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) from a security context.
    • Expertise in anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering
    • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
    • Expertise in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
    • Disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
    • Endpoint security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention
